Data Security:

  • Secure Hosting: All customer data and Glide’s servers are hosted on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), which has robust security measures and certifications like ISO 27001.  
  • Data Encryption: All connections to Glide are end-to-end encrypted over HTTPS, ensuring data privacy in transit.  
  • Access Control: Glide offers granular control over who can access, manage, and edit your apps. You can define permissions for different users or groups.  
  • Row Ownership: You can restrict access to specific rows of data based on an email address, further enhancing privacy. 
     


Application Security:

  • Private by Default: All our apps are private by default. We can adjust privacy settings to make them public or accessible to specific users or domains.  
  • User-Specific Columns: This feature allows us to store unique data for each user in a secure manner, ensuring that users only see their own data.  
  • Protected Columns: We can designate certain columns as protected to prevent unauthorized access or modification.  
  • Encrypted email addresses. We can encrypt users’ login email addresses so that even we can’t see them.
